You can Bank on it, Stablecoin firm Fasset aims to be a bank for people and their AI agents
Fasset, the stablecoin-powered financial platform valued at $1 billion in August, aims to become a bank within three years. Its chief executive told Investing.com that it aims to serve not only its customers but also the AI agents acting on their behalf.
When asked what the company looks like in three years, Mohammad Raafi Hossain, the company’s CEO and co-founder, stated: “A bank, but not the kind you’re picturing, and not just a payments network.”
Hossain expects Fasset to operate on two layers. First, a platform giving consumers and businesses access to stable money, payments, investments and ownership, while underneath that, its Own Network, connecting banks, fintechs, telcos, currencies and markets.
The part people underestimate, he said, is the intelligence layer. “The system we are building has to work for that human, but increasingly for an agent acting on that human’s behalf, with intelligence embedded into how money, liquidity, and assets actually move.”
“I would not describe Fasset as just a payments company, or even just a bank. The ambition is to become the financial operating system that connects how people earn, move and own value globally,” he remarked.
