President Trump said on Wednesday that he will pay every American adult a $5,000 that voted Republican. This would be called a “Trump dividend” if Republicans retain control of Congress in November’s midterm election.

The President made this very bold proposal at his Republican Party’s first-ever midterm convention. However, the real question is, how far would Trump go to seal the midterms. With currently 270 million U.S. adults, the idea would cost around $1.35 trillion. That’s a hefty price for your vote.
