Anthropic publicly filed for an initial public offering on Monday, seeking to list on the Nasdaq under the ticker symbol ANT, as the artificial intelligence company disclosed explosive revenue growth alongside enormous computing commitments and warnings that losses will continue.
Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley are leading the offering. Anthropic has not yet disclosed its targeted valuation or the number of shares it plans to sell.
The Wall Street Journal reported that the company could provide those details in roughly two weeks, after gauging investor feedback. Anthropic is targeting a public listing in the week of Nov. 16, though the timing could change, according to people familiar with the matter cited by the Journal. The IPO could raise $100 billion or more and value the company at between $1.5 trillion and $2 trillion, the report said.
