This is a big deal, Hubbell to acquire NSI Industries from Sentinel for $3 billion
Hubbell Incorporated (HUBB) agreed to acquire NSI Industries from private equity firm Sentinel Capital Partners for $3.0 billion, according to a press release statement.
NSI Industries manufactures and supplies electrical products including fittings, connectors, components, and wire management products sold under the Bridgeport, Polaris, and Tork brands. The company serves industrial, infrastructure, and commercial markets through a network of distributors and contractors.
Sentinel acquired NSI Industries in 2024 and subsequently sold the company’s HVAC division to Lennox International for approximately $550 million. This divestiture repositioned NSI as a focused electrical products manufacturer.
NSI operates in digital infrastructure and electrification applications, including power utilities and datacenters. The company manufactures over 15,000 electrical products and distributes to more than 2,000 distributors across North America from its headquarters in Huntersville, North Carolina.
Hubbell reported revenues of $5.8 billion in 2025 and manufactures utility and electrical solutions from its corporate headquarters in Shelton, Connecticut.
