Same rules apply, ZenaTech’s (Nasdaq: ZENA) ZenaDrone unit applies for Green UAS certification

UAS certification application process for its ZenaDrone 1000 drone platform. The certification aims to position the heavy-lift multifunction drone for potential inclusion in U.S. Department of Defense and government procurement pathways.

Green UAS certification is a compliance framework developed by AUVSI in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Defense. The certification ensures drones are free of components from foreign adversaries and meet standards for cybersecurity, data protection, and supply chain integrity.

“Initiating the Green UAS certification process for the ZenaDrone 1000 is a crucial step in expanding our U.S. defense and government engagement,” said Shaun Passley, ZenaTech CEO. “Secure, NDAA-aligned drone systems are increasingly becoming a baseline requirement for federal procurement.”

The ZenaDrone 1000 is described as an AI-powered vertical takeoff and landing heavy-lift platform designed for defense applications. The drone offers intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance capabilities, along with cargo transport and payload delivery functions. Its modular design allows configuration for multiple mission types.
