President Trump’s believes that a deal Greenland is possible

U.S. President Donald Trump’s special envoy to Greenland, Jeff Landry, stated Friday that he believes a deal to acquire the Danish territory is achievable.

“I do believe that there’s a deal that should and will be made once this plays out,” Landry told Fox News as a bipartisan delegation of U.S. lawmakers prepared to meet with leaders from Greenland and Denmark.

Landry emphasized the president’s commitment to the potential acquisition, saying, “The president is serious. I think he’s laid the markers down. He’s told Denmark what he’s looking for, and now it’s a matter of having Secretary (of State Marco) Rubio and Vice President JD Vance make a deal.”

The envoy also revealed plans to visit Greenland in March for further discussions with officials, signaling ongoing diplomatic efforts to advance negotiations over the territory.
