More Government contracts, AEVEX stock jumps 11% on $50M Air Force contract win

AEVEX Corp. (NYSE: AVEX) shares rose 11% Tuesday after the company announced it secured a $50 million contract from the United States Air Force to expand unmanned mission-support capabilities for current operations.

The contract includes $27 million in initial funding and will advance AEVEX’s production of its long-range precision strike platform, according to a company press release. The platform is designed for extended-range missions in contested and GPS-denied environments.

The unmanned system features high-payload capacity, rapid reconfiguration capabilities, and seamless payload integration to support various mission profiles, the company said.

Performance under the contract will be executed across AEVEX’s U.S. engineering, integration, and production facilities.
