Metals are making a run, American Gold Copper to acquire Oregon nickel project

American Gold & Copper Inc. (AGCI) has signed a non-binding letter of intent to acquire the Shamrock Nickel-Copper Project from Homeland Nickel Inc. (TSX-V: SHL), according to a press release from the company.

Under the proposed terms, American Gold & Copper would pay $150,000 cash for the property, plus an additional $8,500 to cover mining claim renewal costs in September 2026. The deal follows a 60-day due diligence period, with the parties anticipating closing on or before October 11, 2026.

The Shamrock project is located in Jackson County, southern Oregon, approximately 20 miles northwest of Medford. It consists of 40 unpatented lode mining claims covering approximately 758 acres and contains nickel, copper, and platinum group elements in sulphide mineralization. A historical 200-pound composite sample was reported by Homeland to have assayed 1.1% copper, 1.3% nickel, and 0.03 oz/t platinum.
