Just be cool, LG Electronics targets liquid cooling growth in AI data centers

LG Electronics has outlined its expansion plans in the AI data center cooling market during a recent business seminar, according to Citi.

The company is moving beyond traditional chillers and air-side equipment to include rack-side products such as coolant distribution units and cold plates.

The electronics manufacturer has obtained approximately 600 billion won in purchase orders for AI data center cooling equipment through the first half of 2026, primarily for chillers and air-side systems.

LG Electronics anticipates securing additional orders valued at several trillion won by the end of 2026.
