Getting out of a ram, Stellantis recalls over 72,000 Ram vehicles due to display issues
Stellantis is recalling 72,509 Ram vehicles in the United States because of a software problem that causes the instrument panel display to go blank.
The U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced the recall on Monday, based on information submitted by the automaker.
The issue stems from a software glitch affecting the instrument panel display in the affected Ram models. When the display goes blank, drivers lose access to important vehicle information.
Stellantis, the parent company of Chrysler and Ram brands, has not yet provided details about which specific Ram models are affected by the recall or the timeframe for repairs.
