Genius Group (NYSE: GNS) acquires Lighthouse Studios for undisclosed amount

Genius Group Limited (NYSE: GNS) acquired Lighthouse Studios on December 19, 2025, and plans to relaunch the facility as Genius Studios on January 23, 2026, according to a company statement.

The acquisition involved an asset purchase agreement for an undisclosed amount that does not reach the company’s materiality threshold. Lighthouse Studios operates as a podcast and video production studio for entrepreneurs, creators and influencers based in Bali, Indonesia. The facility includes recording studios, co-working space, café and meeting rooms.

Genius Group plans to use the rebranded Genius Studios as the global base for recording and production of AI-powered micro courses, certifications, podcasts and social media content. The facility will also house a Genius Café with courses, events and co-working facilities.

“High quality video production and broadcasting is the future of education,” said Roger James Hamilton, CEO of Genius Group. “We have been working on centralizing our content production team in Bali, and the acquisition of Lighthouse Studios enables us to achieve this under our profitable Genius Café model.”

The studio acquisition is part of Genius Group’s plans to expand its Genius Academy and Genius School operations. The facility is located near the company’s announced Genius City project in Bali.

Genius Studios will serve as the first in a series of AI-powered studios and labs for Genius School students and will produce content for a planned docuseries about Genius City and education technology.
