Cut it out, Google cuts AI Plus subscription price

Google lowered the monthly price of its AI Plus subscription plan to $4.99 from $7.99 and doubled the included storage to 400 gigabytes from 200 gigabytes, the company announced Monday.

The price reduction applies to the Google AI Plus plan, which provides access to artificial intelligence tools designed for productivity and creativity tasks. The new pricing takes effect at the next plan renewal for existing subscribers.

Vikas Kansal, Product Lead for Gemini AI subscriptions, said the changes allow users to “unlock tools to boost your productivity and creativity – and get more space to store your photos, videos and projects – for less.”

The storage increase to 400 gigabytes is rolling out over the next few days to subscribers. The expanded storage capacity can be used for photos, videos and project files.
