Chess moves, Canfor completes acquisition of Calgary I-joist maker PinkWood
Canfor Corporation (OTC: CFPZF) announced it has completed the acquisition of PinkWood Ltd., a Calgary, Alberta-based I-joist manufacturer, according to a press release issued July 3, 2026.
The acquisition, first announced June 9, 2026, adds 120 employees and 46 million linear feet of annual I-joist production capacity to Canfor’s operations. PinkWood will retain its name and operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Canfor.

Canfor, headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, manufactures forest products including lumber, engineered wood products, pulp and paper, wood pellets and green energy, operating at more than 50 facilities across Canada, the United States and Europe.
