Acquiring freshness, Dole acquires Greenfood’s fresh produce unit in Nordic region

Dole plc (NYSE: DOLE) announced that its subsidiary Dole Nordic AB has completed the acquisition of Greenfood AB’s Fresh Produce division, expanding the company’s operations across Sweden, Finland, and the broader Nordic region.

The deal adds a 26,500 square meter fresh produce distribution facility in Helsingborg, Sweden. According to the company, the site is intended to support investment in warehouse technology, including automation, robotics, inventory management systems, and logistics capabilities.
