A great partnership, Adobe extends Saudi partnership with $4 billion AI access plan

Adobe announced Monday an expansion of its partnership with Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and government-backed artificial intelligence firm Humain to provide citizens with one year of free access to its AI-powered tools.

The software company will provide more than 27 million eligible Saudi citizens and residents with complimentary access to its Adobe Firefly Standard subscription tier and Adobe Express Premium features. The offering includes a new image generation model designed for Saudi culture. Adobe values this commitment at over $4 billion.

Adobe and Humain jointly developed the image model, which is backed by Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund. The tool will enable users to create culturally appropriate images using Arabic-language prompts.

The free access will begin rolling out by the end of 2026, according to Adobe.

The companies initially announced their partnership in November, focusing on supporting Humain’s development of content generation tools in Arabic and for the wider Middle East region.
