Ready for lift-off, VinSpace signs SpaceX launch deal for 2027 satellite mission

VinSpace Joint Stock Company, a member of Vietnam’s Vingroup ecosystem, has signed a launch contract with SpaceX to deploy satellites aboard a Transporter rideshare mission in 2027, according to a press release from the company.

Under the agreement, VinSpace’s satellites will share a single launch vehicle with other customers as part of SpaceX’s rideshare program. VinSpace will be responsible for the research, development, manufacturing, and on-orbit operation of its satellites.

The company said the satellites are intended to support on-orbit demonstration of in-house developed technologies and to advance its satellite engineering capabilities. VinSpace announced its plan to develop and launch its first satellites into orbit in 2027 in April 2026.
