There will be Waymo robot driven cars soon, Chery’s EXEED partners with NVIDIA to develop AI-driven vehicles and robots

Chery announced a global strategic collaboration with NVIDIA during Auto China 2026 and the EXEED International Business Summit. The partnership will focus on joint development and deployment of physical AI across advanced driving assistance systems, cockpit AI and robotics.

EXEED, Chery’s premium brand, will be among the first to integrate these technologies. For autonomous driving, EXEED will utilize the NVIDIA DRIVE Hyperion platform for its L3/L4 intelligent vehicles. NVIDIA DRIVE Hyperion is a production-ready platform and reference architecture designed for L4 autonomous driving that integrates the NVIDIA DRIVE AGX Thor computing platform, a validated sensor architecture, and NVIDIA Drive autonomous driving software.

EXEED will leverage toolchains and development platforms like NVIDIA Alpamayo and NVIDIA Cosmos to independently develop its autonomous driving software stack. The company has established an AI infrastructure that supports autonomous driving model training, large-scale data processing, and AI algorithm development.

In cockpit AI, EXEED will develop intelligent experiences on NVIDIA DRIVE using generative AI technology. The cockpit capabilities will include natural emotional interaction, context-aware capabilities, and personalized services.

The collaboration extends to embodied intelligence, including humanoid robots and intelligent robot platforms based on the NVIDIA Jetson platform. EXEED×AiMOGA will use the NVIDIA Isaac Sim robotics simulation framework and the NVIDIA Isaac GR00T humanoid robot development platform.
