Shares of smallcap firm Precision Camshafts rallied 40% in two days after ace investor Vijay Kedia’s name appeared in the latest shareholding data of the auto components and equipment firm.
According to a BSE statement of the shareholding pattern as of the quarter ended March 2023, Kedia bought 10 lakh shares, translating into a 1.05% stake in the company.
At 10.25 am, the stock was trading 13% higher at Rs 144.6 over its last day’s closing price of Rs 127.9 apiece. It hit the day’s high at Rs 149. On a year-to-date basis, the stock has surged over 44%, while it has risen only 6% in the last one year.
