ZenaTech (NASDAQ: ZENA) signs offer to acquire US defense contractor

ZenaTech Inc. (NASDAQ: ZENA) announced it has signed an offer to acquire a Southeast US-based warehouse and inventory management services company that serves the US Department of Defense. The target company has over 25 years of experience in defense logistics and holds active multi-year government contracts.

The acquisition would be ZenaTech’s eighth toward its goal of establishing 25 Drone as a Service location by mid-2026. The company operates through its DaaS model, providing subscription-based access to drone services for surveying, inspections, and maintenance without requiring clients to invest in hardware, software, or regulatory compliance.

“This proposed acquisition represents another important step toward providing access to established US defense agency relationships, enabling increased capacity to deliver Drone as a Service or DaaS at scale to East Coast-based government and defense agency customers,” said Shaun Passley, ZenaTech CEO.

ZenaTech develops AI-powered drone solutions through its subsidiary ZenaDrone, including the IQ Nano indoor drone designed for inventory management in GPS-denied environments. The drone can scan barcodes and RFID tags in warehouses and armories while integrating with SAP-based systems for military stock tracking.

The company, which trades on NASDAQ, Frankfurt Stock Exchange, and Bolsa Mexicana de Valores, operates offices in North America, Europe, Taiwan, and the UAE. ZenaTech provides technology solutions specializing in AI drones, enterprise software, and quantum computing for mission-critical business applications.
