Gyrodyne, LLC (GYRO) owns, leases and manages commercial properties, with a focus on medical offices. Currently, their properties amass over 161,000 square feet of rental space which is comprised of nine buildings located in Long Island, New York, and northern Westchester County, New York. Overall, they are a USD 13 million company with a net asset liquidation value of about USD 23 million.

When comparing, we tried to avoid real estate investment trusts to keep the comparison apples to apples. If we compare Gyrodyne to these stocks, then we can see that Gyrodyne has an edge in earnings per share and price-to-earnings ratio. Unfortunately, they operated at a loss and so their margins are in the negatives, but their net asset value is higher than their market capitalization.
